Delete your Eat account & data
Eat — AI Calorie Counter is published by Plainice. You can request deletion of your account and the personal data we store for you.
How to request deletion
- Email support@plainice.com from the email address tied to your Eat account (or tell us which address you used to sign in).
- Use the subject line Eat account deletion request.
- In the message, ask us to delete your Eat account. If you use a different sign-in email than the one you’re writing from, include the account email so we can find the right profile.
- We will confirm by email when your request is received and again when deletion is complete.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we remove personal data associated with your Eat profile, including:
- Account identifiers (email, sign-in IDs, and profile settings such as name, time zone, and goals)
- Food logs and meal history
- Saved foods, starred items, and meal templates in your library
- Photos you uploaded with logs or foods
- AI assistant drafts and related notes stored for your account
What may be kept
- Backups: Encrypted database backups may retain your data for up to 30 days before they rotate out. These backups are not used for product features after deletion.
- Support correspondence: Emails you send to support@plainice.com about your deletion request may be kept as long as needed to handle the request and for our records.
- Legal or security: We may retain minimal information if required by law or to prevent abuse (for example, a record that a deletion was performed).
Timing
We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. If you signed in with Google or Apple through our app, we will also delete or disable the linked authentication record as part of the same request.
